Support | BUSINESS LISTINGs AND EVENT CALENDAR

One of the goals of the Arizona Office of Tourism is to provide travelers with the best possible resources for planning their trips. If you are an Arizona-based business owner or event organizer and believe visitors to the state would plan a trip around your experience, please use the guidelines below to ensure it meets our criteria and resonates with our consumers. Please note that a business listing is not required to submit an event.

Business Owners
To help in and out-of-state travelers plan their Arizona adventures, we feature businesses that are directly relevant to the travel experience.
  • Location: Your business must be registered and physically located in Arizona.
  • Tourism Focus: Your business must directly support travel, tourism, or visitor experiences.
  • Direct Application: Accounts must be created by the business itself; agencies may not apply on behalf of a business.
  • Security: Your business must have a secure website.
Event Calendar
Our events calendar highlights annual events, fairs, and festivals that motivate people to travel to Arizona.
  • Lead Time: Because travelers plan well in advance, we recommend submitting your event at least nine months prior to the start date.
  • Event Types: We do not accept submissions for local theater productions, concert tours, religious events, charity fundraisers, or networking meetings. View the event submission guidelines for additional details
Internal Review Process and Submision Tips
To maintain a high-quality experience for travelers, all business listings and event submissions are reviewed by the Arizona Office of Tourism to ensure they meet our eligibility and quality standards.
  • Review Timeline: Most listings are reviewed within 3 business days, though this may extend to 5 business days during high-volume periods.
  • Specific Exclusions: We generally do not approve content that is local-focused or non-tourism related, such as professional services (law/finance), local community workshops, or individual short-term rentals.
  • Approval Status: If your submission is denied, you will receive an email explaining the specific reason why it did not meet our guidelines.
  • Multiple Listings: We require that all accounts be created directly by the business owner or an authorized representative.
  • Provide high-quality images: Landscape-oriented images (2MB or less file size, 3:2 ratio, minimum 900 x 600 pixels / maximum 1920 x 1080). Please avoid using event flyers or logo-based graphics, as these are typically not approved.
  • Clear Copy: Use proper grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. To maintain a professional look, avoid using all caps or unnecessary capitalization. Links are allowed but excessive back links are grounds for removal.
