What Types of Businesses Are Eligible?
VisitArizona.com Business Listings are intended for travelers planning a trip to Arizona.
Ask yourself:
“Would an out-of-state visitor realistically plan part of their Arizona trip around my business or experience?”
To qualify, your business must:
- Be registered and physically located in Arizona
- Directly support travel, tourism, or visitor experiences within Arizona
- Offer services, goods, or experiences relevant to Arizona visitors
- Have a secure website
- Apply directly (agencies may not create accounts on behalf of businesses)
Review Process
All submissions are reviewed by the Arizona Office of Tourism to ensure they meet eligibility and quality standards.
- Most listings are reviewed within 3 business days
- High submission volume or multiple listings may extend review time to 5 business days
- Submission does not guarantee approval
- If denied, you will receive an email with reason for denial
Not Typically Approved
Listings that are not tourism-focused or primarily serve locals are unlikely to be approved, including (but not limited to):
Professional and Business Services
- Law offices, financial services, consulting firms, etc.
- Marketing, PR, or digital agencies submitting for another business
- Networking groups or membership-based organizations
Local Programs and Community Activities
- Schools, daycares, or private institutions
- Classes, workshops, seminars, retreats, or lectures
- Library programs, camps, or school events
Real Estate and Rentals
- Real estate offices or open houses
- Apartment complexes or long-term rentals/housing
- Individual short-term rental properties or Airbnbs
Other Ineligible Submissions
- Political, religious, or advocacy organizations
- Transportation or vehicle rental services (shuttles, buses, car rentals)
- Businesses located outside of Arizona
- Aggregator or marketplace websites representing multiple businesses
- Event-only submissions (events must be submitted separately)
- Content containing nudity
